Swipe1 Boost Cards explained: 3x, 5x and 10x multipliers

3×–10× Boost Cards are how a single well-judged prediction can be worth far more than a routine one. They multiply the Points a prediction earns, in three tiers — 3×, 5× and 10×. Used well, they turn Season 0 from a volume game into a skill game.

What each tier does

• 3× Boost Card. Triples the Points on a prediction. Good for calls you're fairly confident in and want to weight up.
• 5× Boost Card. Five times the Points. For strong convictions where you've done your homework.
• 10× Boost Card. Ten times the Points — your highest-leverage move. Reserve it for the predictions you feel most strongly about.

The strategy: conviction, not volume

Because Boost Cards multiply a specific prediction, the winning approach isn't to swipe more — it's to recognise which of your predictions deserve leverage. A 10× on a call you've reasoned through beats ten unboosted guesses. This is where predicting becomes a skill: the crowd's price tells you what everyone thinks, and your Boost Card is how you back your edge when you disagree for a good reason.

How to spend them well

• Save your 10× for genuine edge — a case where you know something the current price hasn't caught up to yet.
• Don't boost coin-flips. If you're 50/50, a multiplier just multiplies the uncertainty.
